Sub: Post –Sixth CPC Demands of Veterans. Respected Sir,
The veterans, all over India, were, in fact, highly elated on your announcement in regard to the payment of all arrears, in respect of sixth CPC to Veterans(ex-servicemen) before Diwali.
This organization takes liberty to remind, your good-self, that the orders regarding your Government's much publicized announcement, One Rank One Pension for PBORs (Veterans below the Commissioned Ranks) has not been issued yet. As such, how can they expect their arrears of One Rank One Pension before Diwali?
Is it a clerical delay or otherwise ? But, Sir, it will not be out of place mention that if the same is delayed, credit for doing good things will be taken by your adversaries. The Veterans are thinking to celebrate BLACK DIWALI if they are not given One Rank One Pension before Diwali.

Now it is up to your govt.what it wants to do.
But we, on our part, would wish to remind you to do the needful at the earliest and garner the well wishes from the veterans for your government.

With a hope for an early action,

  2. We the post 2006 retirees have not yet get single paise out of 6CPC benefits, orders for which have been generated by the Govt almost one year back. Then how you people are expecting that benefits that have been recently declared by the Govt in Jul 2009 will reach your bank accounts prior to Diwali.

  3. Dear Veteran Vinoth,
Regards. Have you given your option for additional commutation or not? If not given yet ,please do so before 10-10-2009,the last date for submitting the option. Then Air Force Records office will write to CDA (AF) for issuing fresh PPO in your case. You will get your arrears after that .

  4. Atleast somebody from Govt side should come forward and explain the reason for this inordinate delay for issuing necessary orders for paying improved pension to under privelaged section of retired defence personnel.Since it was promised by the President of India and RM, and also catered for in the current year's budgetory allocation, I feel that every ex-serviceman has got the right to know the present position of the case.

  5. Dear Veterans,
Regards.Every one among the Underprivileged Veterans is, in fact, restless about the delay being caused by the govt.in issuing the orders for improved pension, announced in the garb of One Rank One Pension though it is only a step to remove an anamoly related only to personnel below the commissioned ranks. Veterans should be rest assured that the orders will be issued soon.At the same time veterans should, also,be aware of this fact that the big brothers (Privileged Veterans),knowing well that this is not One Rank One Pension, have not welcomed this step of the govt. Reason best known to them.
