Dear Veterans,
Best wishes. It is since long, I could not post any information on my blogs due to certain unavoidable circumstances, Now I will try to spare sufficient time for this.
1.       It is for the veterans and the family pensioners' information that those who did not get the revised pension as per OROP so far, should approach their PDA at the earliest with request for immediate revision of pension otherwise they will be at loss at the time of revision of their pension as per 7th Pay Commission.
2.       Certain amount of arrears w.e.f. 01-01-2006 was to be paid to the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners who were alive  as on 01-01-2006 or thereafter as per PCDA Circular 547. If the pensioner is not alive, the same is to be paid to his or her legal heir.
3.        Defence Pensioners / Family Pensioners are likely to get the benefit of  7th CPC with in a couple of months or so.

Revision as per OROP and 7th CPC.

Dear Veterans,
Best wishes. I hope every one of you must have got the 1st installment of  OROP if you are getting only Service pension. You are likely to get the next pension revision as per 7th CPC in July or August this year. There are certain anomalies in 7th CPC revision also which we have projected to the committee of Secretaries constituted for this purpose.

ONE RANK ONE PENSION FINAL ORDERS

Dear Veterans,
Best wishes. Finally orders with complete tables have been issued by the govt. for OROP. The first installment for ex-servicemen is likely to be paid with the pay for the month of Feb.2016.There are many a discrepancies in certain tables which will be got removed by the  govt. in due course. Still we should thank the present govt. which has accepted the demand which ex-service community has been raising for the last about four decades.
The long delay in issuing the orders, to some extant,  was due the  adamant attitude of   unions and organizations who had been had been demanding the bonanza for their sons and grandsons serving in the forces. Now, we hope the things will be on right track soon.

Delay in OROP Payment.

Dear Vets,Best wishes for the new year though belated. Could not post any thing since the the blog remained blocked. OROP payment  is being delayed due to some vested interests bickering. Orders for payments will see the light shortly.Veterans are advised to get their present pension checked from some one knows the knack since most of the old pensioners are being paid less pension than their entitlement.
