Dear Veterans,
Regards. It is for your general information that

Indian Ex-Services League, Punjab & Chandigarh,

which I am heading at present, has about 2 Lakh

(2,00,000 ) life members on record ( R ) on record,

out of which approximately 1/4 must have expired

during this long period after the formation of

organization Thus we can expect about 1,50,000

living members only. Out of this number, there are

hardly 2 % Regular and Hony. Commissioned officers.

We have no ordinary members. Our fee for life

membership was only Rs.5/- up to Hav.,Rs.10/- for

JCOS and Hony. Officer and Rs.35/- for Commissioned

Officer. Presently, It is Rs.50/-upto Hav.,Rs.100/- for

JCOs and Rs.200/- for Officers (both for Hony. and Regular).

All are life members.

As soon as the newly proposed organization i.e.

All India Ex-Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen Association,

is registered, we will pass the resolution that all those

members ( only JCOs. and below ) , including Hony.

(without pensionary benefit), who pay the membership

fee, will be deemed to have joined the new organization

as Founder members. Similarly other States Presidents

will,also, be advised to enroll the members from their

state organizations. This procedure will be elaborately

discussed in the First meeting of the New Organization

after it is registered. If God wishes the members from Punjab

will be in thousands and not in hundreds. No one ( R ) no one

will be enrolled as member of new organization before

its registration.

My veteran brothers should keep this fact

in mind before joining this organisation.
