Regards .Find below the open letter by Lt Col S.S.Sohi regarding IESM Noida activities and their misdeeds.Veteran may, please ,note IESM did not accept to take up any case, exclusively, for the Veterans other than the Commissioned Officers but did not miss any oppotunity to take up matters benefitting Privileged Veterans . The fate of IESM is, now, unpredictable.

IESM Pb is Forced to delink from HQ Delhi
Dear Friends & Sirs,
1. In brief, some hard facts are that we the IESM Pb had to delink our self from IESM HQ Delhi (on Gen Renjan’s clearance) for survival of ESM welfare & for Justice due to:-a. UPA Govt has branded IESM HQ as BJP ESM gp with RSS elements in it and for burning effigy of PM & appre Sh Adwani. (similar attitudes were also seen on 30/8/09). Hence,b. Ignoring IESM HQ’s Memorandum/ Representation and Medals collections (trump Card). c. MOD has Refused to Include IESM in talks, to settle ESM problems/ OROP issue. IESM HQ has written no rebuttle to MOD on Bureaucratic refusal of OROP in “R” to GOM. RRM Mr Balu had invited all ESM Org for talks on 15-16/9/09 at IESL HQ, to settle anomalies but not IESM.
d. IESM HQ often avoids giving Appts to capable JCOs & ORs & also ignore NGO’s heads.
e. During IESM A/Gen Body Mtg on 30/8/09 at NOIDA, lot of resentment by JCOs was seen . f. Hidden Agenda/ Pts of all Core Gp Mtgs are kept secret & never told even on asking.
g. A conspiracy was disclosed of 29/8/09 Mtg by some members that senior Offrs use to conspire to replace strong Appts with like minded stuff and plan ways & means to collect money by exploiting ESM sentiments. Often they fought in Mtgs, hence never published pts.h. Forgot aim to increase membership to counter Govt but prioritized on money collections.
j. Similarly other States ESM are also not happy with HQ, due to such water tight policies.

Since UPA Govt have blocked the way for Justice through IESM & ESM Welfare came to a halt, it was appropriate to (delink IESM HQ on 17/9/09) and switch over to IESM Pb channel for justice from UPA Govt. Because IESM Pb has strong links with PM & RM channel, due to our issue based Sp to Cong during last elections. We had also taken Gen Kadyan & Satbir Singh along with us to Mrs Ambika Soni & then to RM Mr AK Antony for talks, last year.3. But IESM HQ took it as offence and (as per hatched conspiracy on 29/8/09) Ordered change of Guards in IESM Pb on 18/9/09, w/o consulting us/ most of appointees. No body has appre this undemocratic hasty step. Most of the new Appts are not even members of IESM, hence refused to fall prey. HQ resorted to unfair means/ even begging new Appointees daily, just to break IESM Pb’s unity & harmony, but in vein, by God’s grace. 4. ESM Community is basically hungry for Justice and IESM HQ is exploiting this weakness for money & manpower. IESM HQ is also exploiting Appt hungry Offrs & ignores experienced ESM Org/ NGO’s heads with specific aim to collect yes men around. 5. IESM HQ often uses Report my sig & Email net to encourage favorites and glorify own Appts. Our such publicity mtrl is termed as rude & unpolished. Due to such hatred & discriminatory attitudes, lot many good & dedicated Veterans/ Org have left them. 6. Even Press Media ignored coverage to Medals Deposit activity on 13/9/09, like the Govt.
7. IESM HQ’s competence level is not seen in settling ESM real problems and are often seen in passing orders to others to do their job, while sitting near to AHQ & MOD (Govt).
8. Now, IESM Pb have asked HQ to refund their entire Membership forms along with deposited amount due to undemocratic, unilateral rules & high headed behaviour. Its joint decision.9. We have further requested IESM HQ, also to hand over one third share of total Donations & contributions of Public money, to pursue OROP/ ESM cases further. IESM Pb has always been contributing 1/3rd in manpower participation & to Org protests/ activities since last one year. We are equally accountable & responsible to our ESM Community for good/ bad share.
10. We, IESM Pb Joint Front, shall be carrying out Mtg/ rallies all over to continue pressure on Govt as non Political alliance. All ESM, Org/ NGOs are requested to coop & join this noble move. Further disturbance by mischievous elements will not be tolerated, please.
11. We have worked for last more than 10 years to reimpose faith of ESM community in Offrs/ Leaders, which we fear may not come back to square one, by such selfish motive moves. Therefore we are left with no choice but to delink with HQ and secure ESM’s faith by working for them, with some achievement.

in my view , Please contact/liase with ESM Community in Haryana & Rajasthan to merge with your Org. & re name as IESM North
